The Pivot
Painted looking straight down, so there is no horizon and no sky in it. The whole surface is broken into slabs, and the same heavy navy line does all the drawing — between the stones and across the orange alike. The grey is worked dry and scrubbed; the crossing is laid on thick and flat and sits on top of everything else.
Four ways out. Three of them turn red before they reach the edge of the canvas. The fourth runs off the top still orange, and his shadow is pointing the other way.
Unframed, stretched on a wooden frame. Shipping within India included. International shipping quoted on enquiry. Sold with a signed certificate of authenticity.
