The River in His Hair

The hair is doing two jobs. It is hair, and it is the river coming down. I painted it as one continuous fall from the knot at the top to the base of the mountain, so there is no line where one becomes the other. The orange behind it is flat and worked in a single direction, top to bottom, to keep it quiet — everything that happens, happens in the blue.

The figure on the peak is small on purpose. Find it, then look back up at the head, and the mountain changes size.
